While bridging experimental architecture and fine arts, this project is aiming beyond imagination to generate space as the consequence of the embracive interplay of cultural backgrounds and technical approaches.
Along these lines, through finely coordinated interweaving of a wide range of fibrous materialities, bodily topologies are created that bear the ability to adapt, to transform, to encapsulate, to regenerate and to change.
Initiated at Cité internationale des arts in Paris, the Project is extensively merging the works of Asareh Akasheh, Iranian fine artist poetically specialized in the making of paper, and Kristoffer Stefan, engineering artist from Austria with a focus on transformable bending-active structures and changing perceptions of space.
